Chilly weekend and end of the week expected

A chilly rest of the week into the weekend is expected for Minnesota.
According to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl, temperatures are expected to tumble by Thursday night. Highs by Friday and Saturday are forecast to be in the low 30-degree range.

Before the freeze, Wednesday is expected to bring a mixture of snow and rain over the southern part of the state.
Thursday is expected to bring a pretty significant storm that could leave several inches of snow on the ground. With the low temperatures, the snow could last a few days as well.
