Chillier but sunny days ahead

We seem to be firmly past that bit of cold weather last week, and temperatures look to be much closer to average in the week ahead.

A cold front moving through the metro will drop temperatures back down to the 50s on Sunday, and that trend is expected to continue through Tuesday, KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell said. That’s only a few degrees below the average for this time of year.

Still, we can expect mostly sunny skies throughout the week, and on Wednesday we’ll see a chance for highs in the 70s, Mitchell said.
