Chance for afternoon storms Sunday as heatwave continues

The hot and humid weather is not letting up any time soon, according to KSTP Meteorologist Nicole Mitchell.

Expect mostly sunny skies and a high in the low 90s on Sunday. There are chances for rain and thunderstorms by the late afternoon, Mitchell said.

There are consistent chances for scattered storms throughout the week, and high temperatures should stay in the high 80s and low 90s with lows around 70 degrees.
