Isolated severe storms Saturday PM, and heat wave next week
Good evening and happy Friday! I’m tracking a few showers and storms tonight that will wrap up around sunset tonight. Most of us stay dry this evening though, and severe storms are not in the forecast. However, tomorrow afternoon and evening isolated strong to severe storms are possible across Minnesota into western Wisconsin. Storms will start developing around the lunch hour, and strengthen to strong to severe storms late afternoon through sunset. The main threats are large hail and damaging winds.
Prolonged and dangerous heat is in the forecast from Sunday through Friday of next week. Temperatures throughout all of the workweek will reach into the 90s, with mid to upper-90s midweek. Humidity will be high as well, and heat indices will be in the low 100s. So plan ahead on taking breaks from this heat next week for you and your pets.
Have a wonderful weekend!
