Pleasant weekend forecast to enjoy peak fall color

Good evening! Today was a spectacularly beautiful fall day! The Twin Cities reach 69° today, and highs across west-central and southwestern Minnesota reached into the mid-70s. Tonight features a few fair weather clouds and winds out of the northwest that end up breezy overnight. Tomorrow morning’s temperatures won’t be as cold as this morning was for Minnesota. Overnight lows for the metro are in the upper-40s tomorrow morning, and low-50s in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

A weak system entering northern Minnesota this evening, with track southeastward into Wisconsin. Scattered showers (mainly light) are possible across northeastern Minnesota into Wisconsin overnight into Saturday. Rainfall totals stay under 0.25″ to the northeast.

While temperatures are cooler this weekend compared to your Friday forecast, we still have a lovely weekend forecast to enjoy our now peak fall leaf color across central and southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin. We stay dry through your weekend forecast, with highs near 60° both Saturday and Sunday. Count on a windy Saturday forecast with morning sunshine, followed by increasing cloud cover into the afternoon. Sunday isn’t a windy day, but we will have partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers building in west to east Sunday night.

Have a wonderful weekend!!
