UPDATE: Woman, girl hurt, 3 others OK after Hwy 252 crash in Brooklyn Center
A female driver has life-threatening injuries, a 6-year-old passenger was hurt, and three additional passengers are expected to be OK after a crash in Brooklyn Center early Monday.
The crash happened at about 1:22 a.m.
According to an update from the Minnesota State Patrol Monday, the 34-year-old female driver was driving south on Highway 252, approaching Interstate 694, when control of the vehicle was lost. The vehicle hit barriers on the highway before coming to a stop just south of the I-694 overpass.
A 6-year-old female passenger suffered injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
Additionally, a 40-year-old male passenger, 10-year-old male passenger, and 11-year-old male passenger were all unhurt.
Alcohol was considered to be a factor in the crash, according to the state patrol.
The incident remains under investigation.
