Unbelted driver dies in rollover crash on I-90 in southern Minnesota
A 42-year-old Windom, Minnesota, man died after the car he was driving drifted off the road Tuesday afternoon and tumbled on the side of Interstate 90 in south-central Minnesota.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the man was driving a Chevy Camaro westbound on I-90 east of Highway 169 in Blue Earth City Township just after 4 p.m. The car left the roadway and rolled over several times in the ditch on the right side of the interstate.
The roads were slick with snow and ice at the time, and the driver was not wearing a seatbelt, the crash report stated.
The driver died at the scene. His identity will be released at a later time.
