State Patrol: Snowy conditions lead to 140 crashes, 1 death statewide on Sunday
Snowy conditions on the roads contributed to a huge spike in crashes on Sunday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, there were 140 crashes reported statewide between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Of the crashes, one was fatal and 14 were with injury. There were also 126 vehicles that spun out or went off the road and six jackknifed semis.
