State Patrol reminds drivers to slow down, prevent crashes during COVID-19 pandemic
The Minnesota State Patrol is asking drivers in the state to do their part in making sure hospital beds are available for those dealing with COVID-19.
Troopers have received increased reports of aggressive driving and excessive speeding recently.
Col. Matt Langer is asking drivers to make better decisions when driving.
"COVID-19 is not a license to speed, drive impaired, or make other poor decisions behind the wheel," he said in a statement.
Preventing injuries from a crash can help out medical professionals and others coping with the coronavirus.
