State Patrol investigating fatal motorcycle crash in Elk River, victim identified
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened in Elk River Friday morning.
The State Patrol incident report says the crash happed just before 8 a.m. on Highway 169 near 213th Avenue Northwest.
According to the report, the driver lost control of the motorcycle before going off the highway and into the median ditch.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified in a State Patrol crash report as 29-year-old Feodor Iurie Liubimov, of Zimmerman.
The crash remains under investigation.
