State Patrol: Driver showed ‘signs of impairment’ in St. Paul crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says a crash involving two vehicles involved one driver who was showing "signs of impairment."

According to the State Patrol, just after 3 a.m. Friday, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 94 at Mounds Boulevard in St. Paul.

Authorities say the injuries the occupants of the vehicles suffered in the crash are not considered to be life-threatening.

The State Patrol added that one of the drivers involved showed signs of impairment and was taken to Regions Hospital for a blood draw.

The crash remains an open investigation and there is no other information at this time.
