A St. Paul woman was arrested after authorities say she fled a Minnesota State Patrol trooper Thursday night.

According to the State Patrol, a trooper was on a traffic stop on Eastbound I-94 in Minneapolis when they saw a driver fail to move over for the trooper’s emergency lights.

The trooper caught up with the vehicle and activated their squad car’s emergency lights and sirens in an attempt to stop the vehicle.

The State Patrol said the suspect vehicle accelerated and fled the area.

Troopers were able to stop the vehicle near I-94 and Vandalia Street by using a tire deflation device.

According to the State Patrol, when troopers approached the vehicle, the driver was unconscious. Troopers had to administer Narcan to the driver. Once the driver was revived, she became combative with the troopers.

The State Patrol identified the woman as 33-year-old Keila Sorenson.

Sorenson was booked in the Hennepin County Jail on suspicion of fleeing a motor vehicle, first-degree DWI and test refusal.
