The crash cleared at about 5:30 a.m.
Then, Smith said another driver’s vehicle crashed through a cable median barrier on eastbound Interstate 94 near Brooklyn Boulevard in Brooklyn Center.
Smith said she received reports the driver is OK, but that a Minnesota Department of Transportation crew had a difficult time extricating the driver from the vehicle because it was tangled in the cable.
