Rollover crash kills 1 in Sawyer County

A Hayward, Wisconsin, man died in a rollover crash on Monday night.
According to the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were called to a reported crash on County Highway B in the town of Winter at about 11:25 p.m.
Initial investigation indicates a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban was eastbound on County Highway B when the driver lost control of the vehicle. It then left the roadway, rolled and came to rest on the vehicle’s roof, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Lars A. Schnell, was killed in the crash.
An investigation into the crash remains active.
