Minnesota State Patrol: 269 crashes statewide on snowy Sunday

There were 269 crashes reported between 7 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sunday as snow fell across the state, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Of those crashes, 41 had injuries, but none were serious or data. There were also 84 vehicles that spun out or went off the road.

According to the National Weather Service, light snow is expected to continue into the evening in southern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities. The snow and cold weather can contribute to slick roads, especially on bridges and overpasses.
