Metro Transit resumes bus, light rail service in downtown Minneapolis

As of Thursday morning, Metro Transit announced all bus and light rail services have resumed in downtown Minneapolis after unrest erupted Wednesday night.

More updates are to follow, Metro Transit said.

The transportation service shut down due to unrest in the downtown area, stemming from misinformation being spread about a homicide suspect who shot himself on Nicollet Mall.

The Minneapolis Fire Department is investigating four structure fires.

Meanwhile, a preliminary report indicates 33 arrests have been made since Wednesday night in Minneapolis.
