Man dies in single-vehicle crash in northwestern Wisconsin
A driver died in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday in northwestern Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The crash report states that around 9:12 a.m., the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Burnett County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle crash on County Highway H north of County Highway J in Burnett County near Shell Lake, Wisconsin.
Initial investigation indicates that the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and crashed into a driveway embankment.
According to the crash report, the driver, who is described as a 33-year-old man from Webster, Wisconsin, died from his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
