Man airlifted, woman and 4 kids taken to hospital after Becker County crash

A man was airlifted to a hospital and a woman and four children were also transported to a hospital after a single-vehicle crash in Becker County on Tuesday night.

The Becker County Sheriff’s Office said it was notified of a crash on Highway 37 about a mile north of Highway 34 in Toad Lake Township at 8:38 p.m.

Authorities said a 2020 Chrysler Voyager was headed south when it went into a ditch, hit an approach and then struck a tree.

The driver, identified as 41-year-old Amanda Littlewolf, of Bena, was taken to a hospital, as were four juveniles in the vehicle. The final passenger, identified as 42-year-old Aaron Wind, of Cass Lake, was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. The sheriff’s office said all appeared to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
