Lane shifts and lane closures ahead for weekend motorists

Be prepared for lane shifts and lane closures as you head out of town this weekend.

In the last month, there have been some big changes along Interstate 94 in Albertville. You’ll find lane shifts in both directions near County Road 19. Plus the ramp from I-94 eastbound to County Road 37 in Albertville is closed. The new configuration will continue until early November. Learn more about the project.

A long stretch of Highway 47 is closed near Mille Lacs Lake. The roadway is shut down between Highway 27 near Isle and Highway 23 in Ogilvie as part of a larger project to reconstruct 22 miles of the highway. The detour takes motorists to Highway 65. Learn more about the project.

In north-central Minnesota, Highway 10 is down to one lane. Traffic traveling through Wadena is sharing the eastbound lanes. In a couple of weeks, Highway 10 will close entirely as part of a larger reconstruction project. Watch for that coming up on Monday Aug. 24.
