If you’re leaving the town this weekend, you might be getting used to sitting in traffic along Interstate 35W in the MnPASS project between Roseville and Lino Lakes. The traffic shift in the northbound lanes is about to get a little shorter. For months, the shift has started at County Road C in Roseville but beginning Friday it will start further north at County Road E2 (south of I-694).

A few ramps will reopen on Monday, too, at I-35W northbound and County Road H and I-35W northbound and County Road I.

Earlier this week, Highway 95 closed between Cambridge and just east of Princeton. The roadway is open to local access only. The detour takes you to County Road 6, which is just north of the closure. Lanes will reopen along Highway 95 in late October.

Highway 27 is down to one lane in both directions between Onamia and Lastrup. Expect delays through there until the work is complete in early August.

And this weekend, lanes will stay open again along I-35 between Elko/New Market and Faribault. Although the roadway was scheduled to go down to one lane earlier this week, the work has been postponed until September.
