Authorities are saying snowy road conditions were a factor in a Dunn County crash that killed a 27-year-old woman.

The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office said it received a report of a crash on State Highway 25 south of Wheeler just after 2 p.m.

An investigation found a Chrysler Sebring was southbound on Highway 25 when it lost control on the road, crossed the center line and was struck by a Ford F350 pickup.

The driver of the Sebring had to be extricated from the vehicle. She was later pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

Along with snowy road conditions, the conditions of the tires on the Sebring are also being considered a contributing factor in the crash.
