14 injured in crash on Highway 52 in Zumbrota
Fourteen people were injured in a van rollover on Highway 52 in Zumbrota Thursday, according to KAAL-TV in Rochester, a Hubbard-owned station.
KAAL reports the rollover happened just before 2 a.m. near Fifth Street.
Minnesota State Patrol officials said the passenger van was traveling north on Highway 52 when it left the roadway and rolled.
At this time, the State Patrol is mapping the crash and interviewing those injured in the incident. It is believed the van was on an exit ramp, however, officials have not been able to identify what caused the van to roll.
Three people suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital. Eight others were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and two people were taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver declined to go to the hospital.
