1 killed in Dunn County crash
Authorities say one person was killed Thursday morning in a crash in Dunn County, Wisconsin.
According to a release from the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, first responders were called just before 5:50 a.m. to the intersection of State Highway 85 and County Road O on the report of a two-vehicle crash.
The sheriff’s department said a 54-year-old man had to be extricated from a Honda Civic at the scene. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene by the Dunn County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The release said an initial investigation shows a 2007 Ford Explorer was northbound on County Road O when it failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and struck the Honda Civic.
The driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries.
