1 hurt in crash along I-35E in St. Paul

One person was hurt in a single-vehicle crash along northbound Interstate 35E in St. Paul Tuesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers responded to the crash near Grand Avenue just before 6:30 a.m.
A fire truck and ambulance were at the scene, KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith reported.
The vehicle caught fire as a result of the crash and the state patrol reported one person, with injuries not considered to be life-threatening, was transported for treatment.
The crash was cleared just after 7 a.m.
Smith said the crash created a temporary backup. She said Highway 13, Shepard Road and Dodd Road/Highway 149 were possible alternate routes.
