1 hospitalized after car crashes into Crystal building

One person was taken to a nearby hospital Monday morning after a car crashed into a building in Crystal.
The car crashed into a flower shop at the intersection of Bass Lake Road and Vera Cruz Avenue.
In the process, a power pole was knocked down and Xcel Energy reported, at one point, about 150 people in the area were without power. That number dropped to 14 people by about 5:30 a.m.
Firefighters also said the car hit a natural gas meter.
Information on the condition of the person hospitalized was not immediately available.
