1 airlifted to hospital after crash west of Willmar

One person was airlifted to a hospital Friday morning after a single-vehicle crash just west of Willmar.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a reported rollover crash near 15th Avenue Southwest and 105th Street Southwest at 8:21 a.m.
The sheriff’s office said a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was headed south on 105th Street when it failed to stop at a stop sign, entered the west ditch and flipped.
The passenger, 34-year-old Skiller Ponoun, was airlifted to a hospital. The severity of his and the driver’s injuries were unclear.
The crash in under investigation.
