Woodbury police seek suspect in 3 Speedway robberies

Police in Woodbury are continuing to investigate multiple robberies at Speedway convenience stores.
Last week, Woodbury police said a person robbed the store on Lake Road Terrace just before 4 a.m. on Jan. 4. According to police, the same person is believed to have robbed the same store again at around 12:25 a.m. on Jan. 9.
Additionally, police say a Speedway on Hastings Avenue in Newport was also robbed on Thursday at about 3:20 a.m, and the same person is suspected.
A gun was displayed in two of the robberies and implied in the third.
After last week’s robbery, authorities said someone called in a tip to Woodbury, New Jersey but didn’t leave callback information. Woodbury police would like to follow-up with the caller.
