Woman struck in leg during drive-by shooting in Lauderdale early Sunday

A woman was shot in the leg while in a parking lot in what police are calling a drive-by shooting early Sunday.
At about 1:22 a.m., St. Anthony police, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, Roseville police and Minneapolis police all responded to a shooting near 33rd Avenue Southeast and Larpenteur Avenue West in Lauderdale. Initial investigation indicates that a "large gathering" near the area was ending and attendees were in the parking lot. Multiple gunshots were fired in the direction of 2520 Larpenteur from at least one vehicle, according to St. Anthony police.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
