Woman in fatal single-vehicle rollover along Hwy 10 in Blaine identified
The woman who died in a single-vehicle rollover crash along eastbound Highway 10 in Blaine Tuesday morning has been identified.
Thursday, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office reported 35-year-old Chihaya Sierra Sato, of Champlin, died in the crash.
According to the sheriff’s office, at about 6:41 a.m. Tuesday, deputies, Blaine and Coon Rapids police officers, Coon Rapids firefighters and Allina EMS responded to the scene, between Highway 47 and University Avenue.
An early investigation revealed an SUV rolled over as it was traveling east on Highway 10. Sato, who was the vehicle’s sole occupant, was ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
