Woman arrested on suspicion of fatally stabbing boyfriend in Brooklyn Center

Police say a woman is in custody after she allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death early Saturday morning in Brooklyn Center.

According to the Brooklyn Center Police Department, officers responded to a report of a stabbing around 12:33 a.m. on the 5500 block of Humboldt Avenue North. Upon arrival, they found a man inside a vehicle who had been stabbed in the chest.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and later died from his injuries.

Officers were able to arrest a woman at the scene. According to police, she was in a long-term relationship with the victim but they were not living together.

The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim while trying to get him out of her house, police said.
