Wild Guerin and Evason discuss multi-year contract extensions for Evason and staff

The Minnesota Wild announced Thursday the team has signed head coach Dean Evason and his coaching staff to multi-year contract extensions.
In addition to Evason, contract extensions apply to assistant coaches Darby Hendrickson, Brett McLean, and Bob Woods, goaltending coach Frederic Chabot and video coaches T.J. Jindra and Jonas Plumb.
KSTP Sports reports Evason’s contract was previously set to expire after this season.
Evason was named head coach in July last year after being an interim coach for the team. He has led the Wild to a 62-29-7 record (.668) in 98 games as head coach, according to the team.
