Viral YouTube video shows men passing the time as wives shop in Target

Many Minnesotans know what it's like to just "run in" to Target quickly and suddenly realize an hour or more has passed. 

Now, a viral video is echoing the sentiment of many men who have gone shopping at Target with their wives.

The YouTube video is from "Dude Dad" and it's racking up thousands of views.

In it, men talk about waiting in the parking lot for their wives who are shopping in Target.

The video starts with the men talking about how they became bored waiting for their wives, with one saying he started putting the shopping carts away to pass the time and Target offering him a job.

Another said he spent so much time waiting in the car while his wife shopped, he was able to get a doctorate degree online.

Then, the men meet each other and decide to turn waiting for their wives into a group activity.

The video wraps up with the men saying there's no reason for a husband to have to endure a red tag sale alone and that they actually look forward to throw pillows going on sale so they can get together.

The spoof video is getting a lot of laughs. As of Friday morning, Target hadn't responded to the clip.
