Vikings DE Danielle Hunter out for rest of season

In a heartbreaking loss on Sunday night to Dallas, the Minnesota Vikings lost more than just the game.

The team confirmed Monday that star defensive end Danielle Hunter suffered a pectoral injury that will force him to miss the rest of the season.

"I don’t think you replace him. He’s one of a kind," head coach Mike Zimmer said after announcing the news.

Hunter leads the team with six sacks on the season.

The Vikings are 3-4 but still in second place in the NFC North after Sunday’s loss.
