It looks like the Minnesota Vikings will have its star running back for Sunday night’s divisional clash with the Green Bay Packers.
The Vikings activated Dalvin Cook from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday, putting him in line to return for Sunday’s game after missing last weekend’s game against the Rams.
Cook has rushed 226 times for 1,067 yards and six scores this season.
Additionally, the team activated cornerback Tye Smith from the practice squad Reserve/COVID-19 list while placing defensive end Patrick Jones II on the COVID list.
The Vikings announced worse news a short time later, placing wide receiver Adam Thielen on injured reserve.
