New video shows a driver plunging off of a Milwaukee, Wisconsin interchange, less than two weeks after another driver survived his own 70-foot fall from an area interchange.
Milwaukee ABC affiliate WISN-TV reported Thursday the video shows the 2:30 a.m. crash Sunday at the Marquette Interchange.
According to WISN-TV, the 27-year-old driver hit a snowbank on the side of the interstate before plunging onto a ramp below. The driver survived the fall.
Authorities told WISN-TV they believe the driver was under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, WISN-TV reports.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation released the video, which was obtained by ABC News, and shows the vehicle in the upper right corner of the video frame as it plunges off of the interstate.
Less than two weeks prior, driver Richard Lee Oliver said he was on his way to his mother’s house when his truck hit snow on the shoulder of a Milwaukee-area overpass before flipping over the barrier wall and plummeting to Interstate 94 below.

"It is stunning that both drivers stayed alive," WisDOT Regional Communication Manager Michael Pyritz told WISN-TV. "You very seldom hear something like that. In my time with the department this is only the third time that something like this has occurred, two of them being in this year. So certainly there’s some rarity with that, where you don’t expect that to happen."
