Victim of Saturday's fatal St. Paul shooting identified
Monday, police identified the person killed Saturday in a shooting on the east side of St. Paul.
St. Paul Police said 20-year-old Micheal Valentino Parrish, of Minneapolis, was the victim who died. One other person suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting.

The victim from Saturday’s shooting on Minnehaha Ave E has been identified as Micheal Valentino Parrish, 20, of Minneapolis.
Investigation is ongoing and no further info is currently available.
According to the department, officers responded to a report of shots fired around 12:15 p.m. on the 1400 block of Minnehaha Avenue East. When they arrived, officers found evidence of a shooting and were told the victims left the scene in a van.
Officers found the van a couple miles west of the scene, and two men suffering from gunshot wounds were inside the van. Parrish was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim was taken to a hospital.
