UPDATE: Skateboarder in critical condition after being hit by vehicle in Minneapolis

UPDATE:
On Tuesday, the Minneapolis Police Department said a girl who was skateboarding crossing an intersection in Minneapolis on Monday and hit by a vehicle is in critical condition.
Authorities identified her on Tuesday.
Police say she was crossing Dowling Avenue at Bryant Avenue North when a vehicle hit her. The driver of the vehicle stopped, along with other several witnesses, and called 911 and rendered aid to the victim.
She remains hospitalized as of Tuesday morning.
The case remains under investigation. Neither driver impairment nor speed appear to be factors in the incident.

Police say a child was injured in North Minneapolis Monday after being hit by a vehicle while skateboarding.
Officials with the Minneapolis Police Department said the girl was hit just after 7 p.m. near Bryant Avenue North and Dowling Avenue.
