UPDATE: Missing man located in Kandiyohi County, family expresses gratitude to community
UPDATE: The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office confirmed to KSTP that Wieberdink was found alive at about 5:24 p.m. Wednesday.
The sheriff's office said he was found in a bean field near the 11000 block of County Road 4. He was barefoot and sunburnt but in good spirits, according to authorities. He was taken to a hospital.
The sheriff's office also thanked the public for their help and outpouring of support.
"We truly live in a great community which steps up and helps each other in times of need," the department said.

Authorities in Kandiyohi County are asking for volunteers to help search for a missing man.
Donald Leroy Wieberdink, 83, was last seen on the 13000 block of Indian Road Beach on Tuesday, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office is now asking anyone who can to help walk areas assigned by sheriff's office personnel. Authorities also asked any volunteers to bring water to keep hydrated.

Anyone who can help is asked to meet at Green Lake Bible Camp in Spicer at 5 p.m. Wednesday, at which time you can check in with the Sheriff's Office Command Post.
