UPDATE: Police say Maya has been found safe.
Police are seeking the public’s help in finding an 8-year-old girl who went missing Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, Maya Nicole Martinez was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Sunday near East 30th Street and 22nd Avenue South in the Corcoran neighborhood.
Maya is described as being 4 feet tall and weighing 100 pounds. She has black hair, black eyes and a scar on her forehead. She was last seen where a black-and-white striped dress.
Anyone who sees Maya is asked to call 911 right away.
