UPDATE: Minneapolis police: Missing vulnerable adult found ‘safe and well’

UPDATE: According to the Minneapolis Police Department Tuesday, 84-year-old Amatoliy Afanasyev has been found and is "safe and well."
"The Afanasyev family and the Minneapolis Police Department would like to thank the media and the public who assisted in spreading the word of his disappearance," the police department stated in its update.
Minneapolis police are asking the public for their help in locating a missing vulnerable adult.
According to a release from the Minneapolis Police Department, 84-year-old Amatoliy Afanasyev was last seen around 4 p.m. Monday on the 200 block of Oak Grove Street.
Afanasyev is described as 5-feet-4-inches tall, and is bald with light-colored eyes.
He was last seen wearing a white shirt, jeans and slippers. He is not dressed for the weather.
Afanasyev does not speak English and suffers from memory issues.
