UPDATE: Mankato Public Safety found 57-year-old missing man safe

UPDATE: Mankato Public Safety found 57-year-old Robert Charles Martin safe Sunday morning.

Martin has been taken to the local hospital by ambulance, said authorities.

No further information has been released at this time.


The Mankato Public Safety is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 57-year-old man.

According to authorities, Robert Charles Martin, 57, of Winnebago, was reported missing at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Martin recently went through surgery, so he may be walking with a limp. The family says he has other medical issues and is concerned for his safety.

Martin’s vehicle, cane and walker were located in Mankato in the area of North 4th and Vine streets, said Mankato Public Safety

Martin was last seen wearing a green hoody, tan pants and black shoes. He was also wearing glasses and a gold watch. He is described as:

  • 6-foot, 3-inches tall
  • 300 to 325 pounds
  • White or gray hair
  • White male
