Authorities are searching for a man last seen at his North St. Paul home early Wednesday who then used his credit card at a Wisconsin gas station.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) reported 88-year-old Patrick Albert McNeely was last seen at about 1 a.m. leaving his home in his vehicle, a tan 2012 Chevy Silverado with license plate DDD294.
McNeely has dementia and gets confused easily, the BCA stated, adding he left his phone and identification at home.
The BCA reported McNeely used his credit card at a Kwik Trip in Arbor Vitae, Wisconsin, at about 10:07 a.m. Authorities said he has no ties to that area and that it’s unclear where he is headed.
Anyone with information is asked to contact North St. Paul police at 651-747-2406.
Editor’s Note: The BCA issued an update correcting its earlier report of McNeely’s middle name, which is Albert, not Robert. This report has been updated to reflect the correct name.
