UPDATE: Authorities locate missing boy in Isanti County
UPDATE: The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office said at about 2:30 p.m. that Marx had been located and is safe.

The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to find a boy who went missing from his home Tuesday night in Athens Township.
According to the sheriff’s office, Brenden Marx walked away from his home on 245th Avenue Northwest last night.
Brenden has developmental disabilities and has done this before, the sheriff’s office said.
Anyone who has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

However, the sheriff’s office asked the public to not actively search for or chase the boy, as his family said he’ll come out when he’s ready. Anyone who sees him is simply asked to call 911.
