UPDATE: Authorities in Isanti say 13-year-old found safe
UPDATE:
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office says 13-year-old JJ has been located and is safe. He will be reunited with family. Authorities added that they are thankful for the community’s support.
This is an update to a previous story, which appears below.
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a teen who hasn’t returned home after going for a bike ride.
According to a post from the sheriff’s office Monday, 13-year-old JJ left his house in Isanti at about 4 p.m. and hasn’t been seen since.
The sheriff’s office states JJ was wearing a camouflage hat, a gray T-shirt, black shorts with an orange stripe and black flip flops.
Anyone with information is asked to call the dispatch center at 763-689-2141.
Additionally, those who want to help in a search for JJ can do so starting at 9:30 a.m. Monday. A search group will gather in the Bluebird Park East parking lot, according to the sheriff’s office.
