UPDATE: 9-year-old boy found and is safe, Savage police say

UPDATE: Early Friday morning, the Savage Police Department reported a missing 9-year-old boy was found and is safe.

The department thanked those who helped in finding the boy.

Authorities in Savage are asking for help finding a missing 9-year-old boy.

According to the city, the boy was last seen around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Officials say he’s around 4-foot-4, 95 pounds and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, gray shorts and a red backpack.
