UPDATE: 1 dead, 2 injured in Ham Lake crash

One person is dead and two people are injured following a two-vehicle crash in Ham Lake on Friday.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office, at about 3:08 p.m., the sheriff’s office, Blaine Police Department, Ham Lake Fire Department and Allina EMS responded to a report of a multi-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 65 NE and Crosstown Boulevard NE.
A preliminary investigation shows that two pickup trucks were traveling southbound on Highway 65 NE near the Crosstown Boulevard NE intersection when a crash occurred.
One individual was declared deceased at the scene, while a woman and female child were transported to Mercy Hospital with injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
The investigation is active, and no other details are available at this time.
