Twins spring training tickets sell out in 30 minutes Wednesday morning

For the first time since 2019, fans will get a chance to see the Twins from the stands.

On Wednesday morning, the Twins are selling tickets for its limited-attendance spring training games, which kick off with their Feb. 28 home opener against the Red Sox at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers, Florida.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., and fans must buy tickets in exact quantities of two or four contiguous seats. The seats will be set up in socially distanced "pods" throughout the stadium.

The Twins play 14 home games total during spring training. The team’s full Grapefruit League schedule is available on the team’s website.

Meanwhile, the Twins are pushing to get a limited amount of fans in attendance for their regular-season opener at Target Field. The club is asking Minnesota officials to fill up to 25% of seats at home games — about 10,000 fans.
