Suspect in custody after man found dead at scene of fire in Le Sueur County
A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected murder and arson after investigators found a body at the site of a structure fire Sunday morning in south-central Minnesota.
According to the Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a structure fire around 7:15 a.m. at 37722 Hunting Preserve Lane in Le Center. Investigators found the deceased body of a man who is believed to be the resident of the address, 64-year-old Bruce Alan Traxler.
Police later took Hardy Robert Wills-Traxler, 25, of Le Center, into custody on suspicion of second-degree murder and arson; he has not been formally charged. He is scheduled to appear in Le Sueur County District Court on Tuesday.
Investigation is ongoing.
