The World Snow Sculpting Championship runs through Sunday in Stillwater and has lots of fun for the whole family.
Each group started with one thousand cubic feet of snow, tasked with carving it into a beautiful sculpture.
Tourists from all over the Midwest flocked to Stillwater to check out the art.
Stillwater suffered during the pandemic and decided to get creative to bring people to town last winter, hosting its first World Snow Sculpting Championships. The event brought 80,000 people to town over two weekends.
This year’s event is even bigger. If you haven’t gotten the chance to check it out yet, you have until Feb. 6 — if Mother Nature allows it.
