State Patrol: More than 150 crashes Friday afternoon, evening statewide
As winter weather continues to make driving conditions difficult and roads slick, the Minnesota State Patrol has reported dozens of crashes and spinouts across the state.
Between 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday, there were 166 crashes across Minnesota; 13 involved injuries, but none were serious or fatal, according to the State Patrol. There were also 111 spinouts and one jackknifed semi.

"While snow totals were light — generally an inch or two — the fluffy snow can make roads slippery in a hurry," KSTP Meteorologist Matt Serwe said. "Wind gusts up to 40 mph also caused blowing snow and visibility under a quarter-mile at times."
